reFresh your Summer
The pandemic was starting to develop, as I was working on the 2020's version of Grillin' and Chillin', I added a warning to my design presentation alerting the stakeholders that our customers would probably not be able to enjoy the summer season as they did in the past. The summer theme was consequently changed to reFresh your Summer.
My proposal was to evoke pre-pandemic feelings of well-being, and amplify the handmade side of Farm Boy (from the farm, made from scratch, etc.). I sought to depict the vintage feeling of bygone logos, when things were easier, simpler, healthier, as I knew people would be feeling nostalgic for a perfect idealized past.
